Capgemini today announced that it has been named a “Leader” among the 11 most significant vendors evaluated in “The Forrester Wave™: Multicloud Managed Services Providers, Q4 2020” report. Capgemini received the highest scores possible in eight criteria, including cloud native support, vision, and total service revenue.

According to the report, Capgemini is a good fit for enterprises looking for expertise in migration and modernization. Client references gave Capgemini high marks for their overall technical expertise and proactive recommendations for optimization.  The report also noted that Capgemini embraces the concept of “services blocks” featured in the broader Capgemini Cloud Platform, which is a program-level collection of capabilities encompassing services, frameworks, and accelerators.

The report states: “Capgemini brings extensive applications skills to bear on managed cloud services. [Capgemini’s] eAPM[1] is one of the most visually appealing portfolio analysis toolsets in the market. Capgemini has a unique philosophy regarding its hybrid cloud management tooling, emphasizing operations primarily at the app and development services, not the infrastructure layer. Capgemini embraces the concept of “service blocks,” promising variability and flexibility in managed services delivery. With its strength in application services, Capgemini is a good fit for enterprises looking for expertise in migration and modernization.”

The Forrester Wave™: Multicloud Managed Services Providers, Q4 2020” report identifies and evaluates 11 of the most significant vendors against 24 criteria and shows how each provider measures up, helping infrastructure and operations (I&O) professionals to choose the right one for their needs. Capgemini was among the select companies that Forrester invited to participate in this evaluation. The report concludes that providers with expansive capabilities; the means to invest in new capabilities; and deep, broad hyperscaler partnerships will lead the pack.

“We are delighted to be named a Leader in The Forrester Wave™: Multicloud Managed Services Providers, Q4 2020 report,” said Kees Birkhoff, Global Group Offer Leader for Cloud at Capgemini. “We believe this position reflects our proven experience in building multi-cloud strategies that lets our clients adopt a cloud-first approach to achieving their business objectives.
