– Tell us about your role. What does a day in your life at Capgemini look like? 

It is different every day, that’s why it is challenging and interesting. With every new day, comes an opportunity to learn, meet new people, clients and engage in interesting conversations. A typical day, for me, starts at 8 and ends at 5, depending on project requirements. I can work directly for the client on my current assignment, participate in internal project, develop new knowledge about various topics , ….  

– What’s the best thing about working at Capgemini? 

The flexibility (it goes both way) and the human side of it! Here, “people matter” is not just a logo, it is really happening. Even if your colleagues or management can be very busy, you can rest assure that you will always find someone to help and listen. Which is very important when you face complex challenges.

Also, the top-notch technologies and tools we use as well as the support to continuously develop skills and consolidate existing knowledge. – How are you working towards the future you want? 

I would quote Socrates here and say that the only thing I am sure about is that I know nothing. This puts you in the best state to continuously learn from everyone and keep making progress. I work for the future I want by being involved in the new Belgian Capability network ( diversity&inclusion) and enhancing my SAP skills and business knowledge on my current assignment.  

– What advice would you give to someone joining Capgemini? 

Always be proactive, no matter what is the topic or the issue. And reach out to your colleagues and manager, this is how you can really learn and contribute. Moreover, you are here in the driver’s seat of your career and Capgemini offers a wide variety of opportunities, seize them!
