At Capgemini, collaboration isn’t just saying – we live it every day. Staying connected as a community and bringing our passion, enthusiasm, and individuality to work are essential to how we grow and succeed together. And that sense of connection can show up in many ways: during projects, with clients, with colleagues across the world… and sometimes right in the middle of an intense Rocket League match.

We take our work seriously, but we also believe that enjoying what we do is just as important. Creating space for curiosity, creativity, and personal interests allows our people to grow in ways that go beyond day-to-day tasks. This includes embracing a wide range of passion – like e-sports. Each year, Capgemini encourages gaming enthusiasts to join our e-tournaments, offering a fun and dynamic way to connect with colleagues across our Swedish offices.

Last year, our Capgemini team competed in an e-tournament against other companies in Sweden – and not only did they bring home the gold trophy, they also celebrated like true champions by donating 5,000 SEK to WWF. This year, we’re back in the game, taking on games like Rocket League and League of Legends, and we’re ready to go for gold once again.

For many companies, tournaments are about competition. For us, they’re about creating experiences that bring people closer in unexpected ways. It’s colleagues meeting for the first time, discovering shared interests, and forming friendships that last long after the final match. It’s the laughter, the strategy, and those unforgettable moments when a team pulls off an impossible win.

These tournaments reflect the culture we’re proud of at Capgemini – one where people from different roles and backgrounds can connect through their passions, grow together, and have fun along the way.

Meet the Team

We asked our League of Legends team what this experience means to them:

How does it feel to represent Capgemini?
“It’s super fun! We’re representing different parts of the company, which really creates a strong ‘One Capgemini’ feeling. We’re fighting together, through both ups and downs!”

How does engaging in something you love affect job satisfaction?
“Meeting colleagues with the same interests is amazing and strengthens our sense of community. After hard work and intense matches, we’re not just colleagues, we’re friends. It shows that Capgemini cares about giving space to employees with different personalities and interests.”

What would you say to a gamer considering Capgemini?
“There are lots of us who game! Thanks to Capgemini’s many involvements in events like Företagsligan, you can quickly meet people who share your passion. And we often play together outside of work too!”

Why it matters

At Capgemini, great workplaces aren’t built on tasks alone  – they’re built on experiences that help people grow and feel they belong. E-sports is just one example of how we create a culture where employees can connect, have fun, and thrive. When we support what matters to our people, careers advance, ideas spark, and our community strengthens.

If you want to be part of a workplace where you can bring your passions to work and grow alongside supportive colleagues, come join us at Capgemini.
