“I quickly learned that there were several ways to develop and grow within the company.”

Before joining Capgemini, I studied Business Economics at Stockholm University. Prior to joining Capgemini, I gained experience in end-to-end financial work as well as accounting. I even had the opportunity to implement a new finance system.

Upon joining Capgemini, I was happy to find several colleagues as role models to learn from and consult for advice. I also quite fast realized there were numerous ways to develop and grow within the company. Since then, I have embraced and seized the exciting opportunities that have come my way.

What made you decide to apply to and join Capgemini?

I knew that Capgemini had won several awards for being an attractive and appreciated employer and friends of mine working at Capgemini confirmed that it was a great place to work. Finally discovering the numerous career opportunities available abroad made my decision to apply an easy one.

How does your work challenge you?

In my role, I often serve as the link between management and business, interacting with different stakeholders daily. The most rewarding and challenging part is making the best possible analysis from the input I receive. I need to be both detail-oriented and analytical to fully understand the financial trends, as these analyses often form the foundation of important decisions and require my full attention.

What makes you passionate about your work?

Collaboration with colleagues and stakeholders is rewarding and fun, and more importantly I feel heard and respected which makes my work both meaningful and enjoyable. It all comes down to feeling appreciated for the work I do.

How does Capgemini support your development?

Every time a new opportunity arises, I have felt encouraged by my managers to take a leap. At this point in my career, it has been very rewarding to work with so many competent people from whom I have learned so much. At Capgemini my experience is that people are generous with sharing their knowledge and very supportive when you express your career goals.

What characterizes the people and culture at Capgemini?

The culture at Capgemini is very warm and open, with an accepting atmosphere. There is a clear sense of belonging and an openness to new thoughts, ideas, and perspectives, which I really value and appreciate.
