“Capgemini is a company that truly values the individual, offering freedom with responsibility, and fostering a culture where work-life balance and well-being are not just buzzwords, but everyday priorities.”

Before joining Capgemini in September 2022, I pursued a Bachelor’s degree in Economics at Luleå University of Technology, followed by a Master’s degree in Management, Communication, and IT at Uppsala University. My early career journey took me through both start-up environments and the public sector. These experiences shaped my adaptability and curiosity. Since joining Capgemini, I’ve had the opportunity to collaborate on deals of varying sizes across industries, including public sector, manufacturing, and finance. Additionally, working closely with our solutioning team and experts has provided me with hands-on experience in navigating a complex IT environment within a global organization. Every client engagement has deepened my understanding of how technology and strategy intersect, and I’ve gained practical knowledge in solution design, stakeholder alignment, and the nuances of delivering value in large-scale transformations.

What made you decide to apply to and join Capgemini?

What drew me to Capgemini was its strong emphasis on people. It’s a company that truly values the individual, offering freedom with responsibility, and fostering a culture where work-life balance and well-being are not just buzzwords, but everyday priorities.

As someone who thrives in international environments, I’ve always been drawn to cross-border collaboration. There’s something deeply rewarding about exchanging ideas, navigating diverse perspectives, and co-creating solutions with colleagues from around the world. That global spirit is embedded in Capgemini’s DNA, and it’s one of the reasons I feel so at home here.

Working in such a dynamic and inclusive setting has shaped how I approach teamwork, communication, and problem-solving. It’s not just about delivering results, it’s about doing so with empathy, curiosity, and a shared sense of purpose.

Tell us about your role. What does a day in your life at Capgemini look like?

As a Sales Associate at Capgemini, every day is unique, and that’s precisely what I love about it. My role sits at the intersection of client needs, solution design, and delivery execution. I work closely with stakeholders across various industries to support their transformation journeys, whether that involves helping them migrate to the cloud, strengthening their cybersecurity architecture, or modernizing their infrastructure. Every client challenge is different, and that’s where the real excitement lies.

A big part of my day involves working on tenders, bids, and forecasting. I support delivery-led sales by aligning the right solutions with the right teams, ensuring we bring the best of Capgemini to every opportunity. That includes identifying the right experts, tailoring our offerings to meet specific client needs, and collaborating across business units to make it all happen.

What makes this role truly rewarding is the international collaboration. I have the opportunity to work with colleagues from diverse countries and cultures, which brings fresh perspectives and innovative thinking to the table. It’s a dynamic, fast-paced environment where curiosity, adaptability, and teamwork are key.

How does Capgemini support your development?

Capgemini really supports my growth, not just through structured onboarding and learning platforms, but also by giving me the chance to learn by doing and by managers having trust in what I deliver. I’ve had the opportunity to work on real client cases from day one, collaborate with experienced teams, and take part in training programs that help me build both technical and business skills. There’s always room to grow, and I feel encouraged to take ownership of my development.

What characterizes the people and culture at Capgemini?

What I really appreciate about Capgemini is its inclusive culture. Everyone has a voice, and it’s your skills and ideas that matter, not your background or what your name sounds like. There’s a strong focus on diversity, inclusion, and, in particular, empowering women in tech, which is something I value deeply. Coming into an industry that’s traditionally been male-dominated, it’s refreshing to be part of a company where different perspectives are welcomed and respected.

What is the best thing about Capgemini?

One of the best things about working at Capgemini is the flexibility. I truly appreciate the trust we’re given, along with the freedom that comes with the responsibility. Remote work is a big plus, and I feel recognized for the work I do. Being part of a large global company also means there are so many opportunities to grow, explore different paths, and shape your own career journey.
