“Capgemini has given me the opportunity to grow, take on new challenges, and turn my ideas into reality that’s why I’ve chosen to build my career here!”

I hold a degree in Human Resources Management from Södertörn University. Shortly before completing my studies, I joined Capgemini in February 2021 as a Talent Acquisition Researcher. Since then, I have progressed through several roles within Talent Acquisition and today I am a Talent Acquisition Partner, leading recruitment across Sweden for our Digital Customer Experience (DCX) business unit.

Tell us about your role. What does a day in your life at Capgemini look like?

I work across the full recruitment cycle, from interviewing candidates and creating job advertisements to partnering closely with hiring managers to understand their hiring needs. A key part of my role is building long-term relationships, both with candidates and stakeholders across the business. I also proactively identify, source, and engage top talent, ensuring we attract the right people to Capgemini. As we often operate in a fast-paced environment with evolving business and client demands, being agile and adaptable is essential.

One of the aspects I value most is ensuring that every candidate has a positive experience throughout the recruitment process, regardless of the outcome. Beyond core recruitment, I deliver internal training and coach managers on fair, inclusive hiring practices. I am also actively involved in initiatives outside my daily role, leading the Women@Capgemini community in Stockholm and driving student and employer branding initiatives.

What makes you passionate about your work?

I love being the ‘spider in the web,’ acting as the link between stakeholders in a large, international organization. For me, recruitment is all about the people. I thrive on the variety, from partnering closely with hiring managers to helping candidates take their next career step. No two days are the same, and I enjoy juggling priorities while adapting to changing business needs. Ultimately, seeing a successful match come together and knowing that I have contributed to both business success and someone’s career development is incredibly rewarding!

How does your work challenge you?

Constantly! Recruiting is not only about finding the right candidate but also finding the right candidate at the right time. As we work in a fast-paced consulting environment, priorities and client needs can change quickly, so you need to be flexible and adapt along the way. I often recruit niche roles with very specific requirements, which means I need to think outside the box and find new ways to reach the right people. It requires me to be proactive, solution-oriented, and always ready to adjust my approach. That’s one of the reasons I enjoy recruitment so much, there’s always a new challenge to solve!

How do you notice Capgemini’s efforts to create an inclusive environment?

For me, working in an inclusive environment is incredibly important, and that is one of the things I value most about Capgemini. Our culture actively encourages employees to take initiative and get involved, and I’m grateful to have the space to turn my ideas into real-world action!

That’s why I drive key initiatives within our employee communities, supporting vital networks like OUTfront for LGBTQ+ inclusion, and actively leading the charge as the Project Lead for Women@Capgemini in Stockholm. For me, these networks are the perfect platform to connect, collaborate, and actively build a more inclusive workplace. What stands out most in my daily work is our truly international environment. Working with people from diverse cultures, experiences, and perspectives gives me the opportunity to learn something new every day.

What is the best thing about Capgemini?

The best thing about Capgemini is the development opportunities and the strong network of expertise across teams. Capgemini has given me the opportunity to grow, take on new challenges, and turn my ideas into reality, that’s why I’ve chosen to build my career here! Since joining, I have grown significantly, progressing from a Researcher role to a Senior Talent Acquisition Partner. I’ve had the opportunity to attend a variety of trainings and earn certifications, including becoming a certified LEGO® Serious Play® facilitator. Recruiting a wide range of profiles, from junior talent to senior-level positions, also keeps me continuously challenged. There is a strong culture of continuous learning, where we are always encouraged to develop through new responsibilities and career opportunities.

Another aspect I truly value is our focus on work-life balance. I have a passion for traveling, and thanks to Capgemini’s flexible way of working including the possibility to work abroad for up to 45 days per year I’ve been able to combine my career with exploring the world. So far, I’ve worked remotely from Spain and Japan, and this year I’m planning to spend time in Australia. It’s amazing to be able to combine my passion for travel with my work and enjoy the best of both worlds!
