I became part of Capgemini when I joined the IgnITe Graduate Program in 2020 in Malmö. A friend from University suggested Capgemini as a workplace, I had just graduated from IT & Business at Malmö University the year prior and was working within IT security in Copenhagen. I was particularly interested in IT, preferably in a combination with business. Then I saw an opportunity at the IgnITe Graduate Program to combine my education with my previous IT experience and was really excited to start this new journey at Capgemini.

Tell us about your role. What does a day in your life at Capgemini look like?

As an Application Consultant, I work with implementing ERP systems for clients across various industries. We analyze the client’s business processes, identify requirements, map those requirements to the ERP system’s capabilities, and configure the system to suit their needs. Working with clients in different industries allows me to meet many inspirational people, which I find highly motivating.

Besides working on assignments, I’ve actively participated in some of Capgemini’s internal projects, such as moderating for Malmö’s Sports Club. Having fun at work is essential for boosting productivity, morale, and collaboration, and Capgemini is a company that strongly supports this. 

How does Capgemini support your development?

Despite being a global company, Capgemini fosters an entrepreneurial feeling and approach. Capgemini offers a lot of freedom regarding when and where you work, but also in terms of shaping your own career. This keeps me motivated to take charge and push myself to build my own career path, with the support and guidance from others.
