“The culture of care and support makes Capgemini a great place to work.”

I am a mechanical engineer with 15 years of experience. I began my career in production and wind energy, but I have always been more interested in technology and software. Ten years ago, I had the opportunity to transition into a new career, and since then, I have had an exciting journey working with various clients globally in SAP functional consulting.

What made you decide to apply to and join Capgemini?

What drew me to Capgemini was the reputation it had for exciting projects. I had heard that Capgemini had a strong SAP practice, which really appealed to me. What stood out was the opportunity to continuously develop my skills and choose the areas I wanted to grow in. It was the combination of exciting projects, a supportive learning environment, and the chance to build expertise across different areas that made me decide to join Capgemini.

What makes you passionate about your work?

Over the past three years, I’ve been involved in three different projects, each offering unique experiences. Working with global clients has allowed me to interact with people from diverse cultures and backgrounds. I particularly enjoy the communication and collaboration with clients across various projects. We learn from each other, share expertise, and grow together. The variety and versatility of the work, along with the cultural exchange, are what keep me motivated.

How does Capgemini support your development?

I’ve been fortunate to be part of a great team at PBS, where I receive strong support from both my colleagues and managers. Over the years, I’ve been able to expand my knowledge beyond my core area and explore other technologies as well. Capgemini fosters a culture of continuous learning. Whenever I have questions there’s always someone willing to help.

The culture at Capgemini is incredibly friendly and collaborative. Everyone is committed to delivering their best, and we work together as a team to achieve our goals.

Work-life balance is taken seriously. People genuinely care about each other’s well-being, regularly checking in to ensure no one is overwhelmed. It’s not just about delivering results—it’s also about making sure you’re doing well personally. I’ve felt recognized and valued within my team, which has made a big difference in my experience.
