I’m the Go-to-Market Lead for Insights and Data in Norway, responsible for driving business development for a team of 200 talented professionals specializing in data and AI, with the support of many more globally. I started my career with Capgemini a decade ago as a data scientist having studied probability mathematics at the University of Oslo. I greatly value the continuous opportunities for career growth and the dynamic team spirit, full of energy and boldness in exploring new ideas.

What made you decide to join Capgemini?

I first heard about Capgemini’s excellent graduate program and its supportive environment through my peers at university, and this convinced me to join. Looking back, I’m grateful to have joined a company that prioritizes innovation in the data and AI space, and where I’ve been able to grow from a data scientist to a tech lead, and now to leading business development for data and AI in Norway.

What makes you passionate about your work?

I aspire to be a good mentor and source of empowerment for my team, I’m passionate about their success. For them to have and take ownership of their roles, make decisions, and contribute to Capgemini being a place you can grow, engage in exciting work, and have fun.

How does Capgemini support your development?

My favorite development tool at Capgemini is the openness of my colleagues to share their insights. Most of what I’ve learned is from these interactions, mentorships and the community as whole.

Something that truly helped me a lot was during a leadership program; I got a time management coach. We went over my schedule, my priorities and my long-term goals. This mentorship made me aware of all the little steps I needed to take in the present to make more space for the bigger changes I wanted to make going forward.

What do you do to help inspire your consultants?

I strive to inspire my consultants by empowering them with opportunities and roles for them to showcase their talents and strengths, for them to have more fun by doing something of their interest and capability. And for their success to be widely recognized, providing more opportunities.

What makes you proud to work at Capgemini?

The afore mentioned team spirit and open environment is what makes me most proud to work at Capgemini. The employee’s commitment to each challenge and to the work environment makes me certain Capgemini will reach their goals of contributing to a sustainable and inclusive future. Seeing the company strive to make a positive impact on both the environment and society is inspiring and I’m proud of being part of this mission which will be made possible by the dedicated team working here.
