“I find it rewarding to help solve clients’ challenges within the unique constraints of their skills, technologies, and available resources.”

Before joining Capgemini, I spent several years working as a software engineer. Since joining the company, over 13 years ago, I’ve primarily taken on the role of a Business Analyst, contributing to a wide range of projects and clients. I thrive in the space between business and technology—translating user needs into effective, technology-driven solutions.

What made you decide to apply to and join Capgemini?

I had previously worked in product development for a long time before joining a smaller consultancy firm. I then wanted to work with a larger consultancy company and Capgemini provided, and still does, a more interesting package than its competitors.

How does your work challenge you?

I’ve had the opportunity to work with a variety of clients across different sectors in Norway. I find it especially rewarding to help solve their challenges within the unique constraints of their skills, technologies, and available resources.

As an example, I’ve seen how much the public sector can achieve despite having fewer resources compared to larger companies. This demonstrates that with smart architectural decisions and efficient use of resources, it’s entirely possible to deliver solutions that create real value for clients.

How does Capgemini support your development?

At Capgemini, employees have access to a wide range of interesting projects, clients, and training opportunities. In recent years, the availability of diverse training programs has significantly increased. Capgemini also provides a lot of internally developed resources, including reference materials, best practices, and frameworks.

It’s up to each employee to take the initiative and make the most of these resources. Personally, I’ve found that I can largely shape the direction of my professional development by pursuing certifications, engaging in training, and clearly communicating the types of projects I’m interested in.

How do you notice Capgemini’s efforts to create an inclusive environment?

It serves as a daily reminder: as a global company, we work alongside colleagues and clients from all over the world. We collaborate effectively and treat each other with mutual respect.

Capgemini actively reinforces these values, reminding us regularly that diversity and inclusion are not just ideals—they are an integral part of who we are.

Why should you join Capgemini?

Capgemini is one of the world’s largest consulting firms, offering the chance to collaborate with colleagues and clients across the globe. We work with some of the biggest international companies. At the same time, Capgemini Norway maintains strong relationships with smaller and local businesses, giving you the opportunity to work across a wide range of industries with diverse challenges and needs. This variety makes every project a unique learning experience.
