I began my career in the energy sector as a Digital Solutions Trainee. Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to work across a wide range of disciplines – from marketing to IT – in roles that have required strong project management, design thinking, and interpersonal skills. My transition into consulting was driven by a desire to challenge myself through a new way of working and to embrace a more varied and dynamic professional life

What made you decide to apply to and join Capgemini?

I decided to apply to Capgemini because I was looking for new challenges and an opportunity to grow and learn more, and also a workplace where technical expertise, culture and diversity was valued. For me, Capgemini was the perfect match for the next step in my career, giving me the opportunity to work on challenging projects with a broad range of exciting clients.

Tell us about your role. What does a day in your life at Capgemini look like?

Currently, I am working as a project manager for a client in the energy sector. My daily tasks involve collaborating with my team to ensure the project is moving forward and that we reach our set goals, and dialogue with and reporting to the client on status.

How does Capgemini support your development?

Capgemini supports my development in several ways. My managers provide me with challenges and autonomy in my client assignment, as well as guidance on what learning will help me achieve my goals. In addition, I get to work with more experienced professionals which provides fantastic guidance and support in my role.
