“Capgemini stood out as a place where I could be part of a larger team of consultants working together on projects – an environment that fosters learning, collaboration, and shared growth.”

I began my career at Capgemini in June 2022 as a Senior Consultant in Insights & Data, and currently serve as a Managing Consultant. With a degree in Business Administration and Economics, I chose to pursue a career in IT to work at the intersection of data, strategy, and innovation. After three years consulting prior to joining Capgemini, I now help clients turn data into actionable insights. I’m passionate about solving complex problems, driving value through collaboration, and delivering results that matter.

What made you decide to apply to and join Capgemini?

I wanted to join a strong consulting environment with a clear focus on data and insights, where I could deepen my expertise in implementing and delivering data platforms at a larger scale than I had experienced previously. Capgemini stood out as a place where I could be part of a larger team of consultants working together on projects – an environment that fosters learning, collaboration, and shared growth. Lastly, I was drawn to Capgemini’s broad opportunities for career development, and the chance to grow within a company that invests in its people.

Tell us about your role. What does a day in your life at Capgemini look like?

My role at Capgemini varies depending on the client, project, and its phase. I’ve taken on several different responsibilities throughout a project’s lifecycle, which keeps the work dynamic and engaging. A key part of my role is working closely with clients to understand their needs and ensure we deliver solutions that exceed expectations. I also stay up to date on relevant technical developments and new releases, which allow me to bring fresh insights and improvements to the project. Whether I’m leading workshops, supporting implementation, or exploring new technologies, each day is shaped by collaboration, learning, and problem-solving.

How does Capgemini support your development?

Capgemini has provided me with many opportunities to grow both professionally and personally. Since joining, I’ve taken on new responsibilities such as becoming a People Manager and leading the Data Adoption Community of Practice. I’m currently the Microsoft Partner responsible for Insights & Data, which has allowed me to expand my expertise and leadership skills within the organization.

What characterizes the people and culture at Capgemini?

The people at Capgemini are incredibly talented and truly best-in-class within their areas of expertise. What stands out even more is the culture – it’s open, informal, and highly collaborative. It’s easy to share your opinions, and there’s a strong team spirit where people genuinely support one another. We also have a lot of fun at work, and many of my colleagues feel more like friends. It’s a culture that fosters both professional growth and a great sense of belonging.

What is the best thing about Capgemini?

For me, the best thing about Capgemini is the people. As someone who thrives in a team-oriented environment, being surrounded by talented, supportive, and collaborative colleagues makes a huge difference. The second best thing is the endless opportunities Capgemini offers. Whether it’s taking on new roles, exploring different areas of expertise, or growing into leadership, the possibilities are there for those who seek them.
