Tell us about your role. What does a day in your life at Capgemini look like?

I have a combined role as team leader for an automotive verification project and People Manager at Capgemini Engineering. I’m fortunate to experience exciting and dynamic days at work. My role involves guiding a talented team of engineers and professionals, ensuring they have the resources, support, and motivation they need to succeed. A significant part of my role includes spending time together with my team verifying different truck systems to ensure quality. Throughout it all, I make sure that our efforts align with Capgemini’s strategic goals, while fostering a positive and collaborative environment within the team. 

As a team manager, how would you define your style of leadership? 

My leadership style focuses on empowering my team and keeping communication open. I lead by example, build trust, and listen carefully to everyone. I take time to understand each person’s strengths and goals, adjusting my approach to help them grow. I make sure to give helpful feedback and celebrate successes, so everyone feels supported and appreciated. I also encourage constant learning and improvement, so my team can develop their skills while contributing to the success of our projects.
