Tell us about your role. What does a day in your life at Capgemini look like?

I get to work with several leading Insurance organizations across the globe and manage their business for Capgemini. This includes an entrepreneurial model of being successful and leading teams in the best interests of the client.

Work at Capgemini brings a great balance of working with our customers and bringing industry solutions, to partnering with internal teams towards building our business. Sales, consulting, operations, and strategy are part of the daily routine – mixed with fun and good people.

What’s the best thing about working at Capgemini?

People make a difference! This is so true. In this business, it is all about who you go to work with every day, and there are some great people at Capgemini. Here I truly have access to a global and diverse set of some of the brightest talent in the world. It is my job to bring them together and rally for the best outcomes for our customers, who are also leaders in their industries. Working with 20+ year industry executives, global delivery consultants, and various ranges of clients and partners truly brings a diverse and exciting experience to Capgemini.

What makes you proud to work at Capgemini?

Capgemini brings a unique ability to be the best at what we decide to do. Teams can really rally around shared goals and missions, and they drive the business and future that they want. Our consulting teams really believe in the collaborative experience – working with our customers.

How are you working towards the future you want?

I enjoy building teams, and ultimately culture. The Capgemini future I want is to influence and strengthen the brand in North America. I am able to work on things like our World Reports in Health and Insurance, and scale that expertise across our client set. In addition, I get to participate in industry events with leading partner companies such as AWS, Google, and Pega in the effort to bring the best of our combined talents to the clients we share. Working not just in my business unit, but also in supporting other initiatives and teams across North America to strengthen our brand, is something I enjoy, and that I believe will add to our success!

What advice would you give to someone joining Capgemini?

Take control of your future and career. This is not an environment where you can sit back and follow the steps to success. Work with teams, define your future, and create the path towards it. Learn how to navigate the various structures, and harness the power of the group. There is a tremendous amount of assets to draw upon at Capgemini.
