– Tell us about your role. What does a day in your life at Capgemini look like?

I am a part of Insights and Data team, and my role is Senior Manager i.e. Lead Consultant. I work on data science and data engineering projects for clients across different industries.  

My day might involve a variety of tasks depending on the project and the stage of the project. Activities like client meetings, designing and developing solutions, and working with other members of the project team to ensure that everyone is aligned on project goals and timelines, are all part of my day at Capgemini. I also spend time researching and learning about the latest technologies and trends.

– What’s the best thing about working at Capgemini?

Working at Capgemini provides opportunities for growth in a collaborative work environment. Exposure to cutting-edge technology and having access to supporting programs and training courses are other aspects of working at Capgemini that I like. 

– What makes you proud to work at Capgemini?

Working with a great network of professionals in a company with ethical values and culture makes me proud to work at Capgemini. 

– How are you working towards the future you want?

Working towards the future is a continual process that requires dedication, patience, and persistence. To achieve my goals, I focus on self-improvement by investing time and effort in developing the skills, knowledge, and right mindset. I set short- and long-term goals and actively work toward them. Networking and getting advice from mentors and senior leaders also help me on my journey. 

– What advice would you give to someone joining Capgemini?

Familiarize yourself with different processes and systems within the company, find your network and connect with your colleagues, and don’t be afraid to ask questions about subjects you are unfamiliar with when it comes to your work. Take advantage of available learning programs and courses as a great opportunity to grow and fill any knowledge gaps you may have.
