Accelerating Insurance Core System Modernization to Guidewire

Capgemini, in collaboration with AWS has conceptualized a versatile common country layer that seamlessly integrates with country-specific modules, requiring minimal customization. We have developed key accelerators for Sweden-specific integrations, targeting systems such as VTR, SPAR, and GSR through mock APIs.

  • Vehicle Transport Registry (VTR): Integration for vehicle ownership, driver license, and traffic incident history. This includes orchestrating multiple calls to VTR, flagging mismatched vehicle details, and showing vehicle registration and traffic incident history.
  • Swedish Personal Address Register (SPAR): Integration for insured, claimant, and contact details. This includes fetching person details based on person ID or coordination number, flagging privacy-protected information.
  • Common Claims Registry (GSR): Integration for fraud detection and claims management. This includes registering claim details in GSR, posting updates to claims, and deleting claims based on adjuster’s updates.

This innovative approach is designed to be scalable, extending its benefits across the Nordic region, thereby streamlining integration processes and boosting operational efficiency.
