Capgemini really lives up to its 7 values. The organizational culture is based on helping each other and truly delivering as the ‘Power of One’
What drives you to work?
The fact that I get to work with such talented colleagues and clients, who have contributed greatly to my knowledge and experience, makes me want to give my best each day. I get to learn on the job and that is great!
What are you currently working on?
I am currently working on developing a CoE model for a client, which will provide automation services for the organization globally. The model includes a framework for process identification, assessment, and staging and prioritization before the processes are delivered to an offshore development factory.
It’s very exciting to be a part of shaping a new service for clients and helping them in their automation journeys.
The number one skill for a consultant is to have the ability to learn. Then comes development skills. Teamwork, leadership, communication, and decision-making are also essential to becoming a top-class consultant.
My aim is to always work with the latest technologies and deliver innovative solutions.
Overcoming challenges at work
Capgemini’s global network has helped me overcome some of my biggest challenges and I am excited to continue learning how I can use the strength of this network to deliver on projects. You rarely come across a situation where no one in the Capgemini Group has experienced before, and this is what makes the network so valuable.
What motivates you?
Emerging technologies are reshaping industries, businesses, society, and even our daily lives, and I am glad to be a part of this exciting journey. In addition, I continuously strive to optimize the models I have worked on by learning from my previous mistakes.
How does Capgemini empower you?
Capgemini has taken me places, quite literally. I started my career as a Robotic Process Automation (RPA) developer in Capgemini Norway and now I am a Senior Consultant at Capgemini Australia.
I was offered the option to move to different countries, different offices, and take up different roles. The experiences I’ve had have not only tested my skills inside my field but have also given me a chance to decode interesting challenges that came my way. Such situations only motivated me to learn and perform better.
When I was in doubt or needed guidance and support, I had the backing of my team, and that always kept me going forward. I am grateful to Capgemini for giving me such exciting opportunities!
What makes you proud?
I am proud that I have been able to achieve one of my dreams, to move to Australia and experience living and working there.
