Energy & Utilities Entry Route

What is the Energy & Utilities Pathway?

We create the future society needs by partnering with our Energy & Utilities clients to deliver sustainable change, helping them to navigate a transforming world. Our work is focussed on the future of our clients, creating business value through newly designed solutions across the energy and utilities sector. Over the next few years all organisations will go through a period of dramatic change, and we have an important role to play: customer experience, increased technology and new economic models are combining with more mature ways of working, developing a fast-paced changing environment where our clients need to transform themselves. By joining the sector team, you will have the opportunity to drive change within companies that comprise our critical infrastructure, across all parts of the sector, including Nuclear, Energy Networks, Energy Transition, Energy Retail and Water.

The Focus of Your Role

As an Associate Consultant you will embark on a stimulating and exciting journey where you will develop key skills that influence how our clients evolve the way they work, perform and achieve their goals. You’ll have the opportunity to work on large scale transformation programmes. You will ensure the smooth delivery of end-to-end projects by working flexibly, demonstrating intellectual capability and delivering innovative solutions for clients. The day-to-day tasks can vary from engagement with senior stakeholders, conducting analysis of data or business requirements, designing business strategies through to delivering workshops and collaboratively working in cross-functional teams to drive continuous business performance improvement.

What you will need

We are interested to hear from you if you have experience working in the industries we operate in and are keen to start a career in an environment where you can drive change.

  • Ideally, you will have some or all of the following: A natural curiosity in Energy & Utilities and how the sector will impact our future economies and communities as we strive for carbon neutrality;

  • A desire to work with organisations to drive operational efficiency and customer experience improvements for their employees and customers;

At Capgemini Invent, although academics form part of our overall hiring decision, we do not select candidates purely on academic performance. We will assess your suitability for a role using several tools including video interviewing and assessment centres (all currently being held virtually).
