Why did you join Capgemini Engineering and the traineeprogram IgnITe?

I heard great things about the IgnITe Graduate Program as a launchpad for a successful career, so I decided to give it a shot and I´m glad I did! It´s been an incredible opportunity to learn, grow, and gain hands-on experience in a supportive and innovative environment.  

Tell us about your role. What does a day in your life at Capgemini look like?  

Currently, I’m on an assignment at an automotive client in Gothenburg, working in the e-mobility section, focusing on developing the battery functionality for electric vehicles.   

How does your work challenge you?  

I firmly believe that being curious and humble is key for learning. There is always more to learn and discover. By diving into new tools, taking on diverse projects, and collaborating with various talented individuals, I´m constantly exposed to fresh perspectives and innovative ideas that push me to grow both personally and professionally.

What is your best advice for a student who dreams of starting a career at Capgemini?

Be curious, proactive, and open to learning. Don´t be afraid to ask questions and take on challenges outside your comfort zone. Growth comes from pushing your limits and embracing new experiences. Stay hungry and stay foolish.
