How does it work?

The IGNITE Graduate Program is for recent or soon-to-be graduates who are ready to kick-start their careers in IT-consulting.

When joining IGNITE, you choose a career path that aligns with your interest. The program offers opportunities across different business areas, allowing you to develop your skills and expertise within your chosen field while gaining exposure to Capgemini’s broader services and industries. Whether your interests lie in engagement management, software development, AI-and digital transformation, IGNITE provides the foundation to build a successful career while developing a strong cross-functional network within the organization.

The program combines hands-on experience with professional training, workshops, selected certifications, and continuous development opportunities. You will work alongside experienced colleagues on client engagements, helping organizations solve complex business challenges and drive meaningful transformation.

Collaboration and community are at the heart of the IGNITE experience. As part of a close-knit graduate cohort, you will build a strong network with peers across different capabilities and practices through onboarding activities, networking events, social gatherings, and learning sessions. This provides a valuable support network and helps ensure a great start to your professional career.

Learning & Development

The IGNITE program combines hands-on experience with a structured learning journey designed to help graduates build the skills needed to succeed as Capgemini consultants.

Throughout the program, graduates engage in a variety of learning activities that support both personal and professional development. The activities focus on strengthening client-facing communication and presentation skills, building core consulting capabilities, understanding modern delivery approaches, and exploring how emerging technologies are transforming businesses and creating value for clients.

The learning experience includes a mix of interactive workshops, practical exercises, collaborative learning, and networking opportunities. Graduates also engage with colleagues across the Nordic countries and business areas, gaining valuable perspectives and building relationships within a broader professional community.

As part of the IGNITE Graduate Program, you will be based at one of our offices in Denmark, located in either Copenhagen or Aarhus.

You’ll receive a consultant toolbox with trainings and certifications – empowering you to develop both your consulting and technical skills.

You are about to graduate or have recently graduated with a relevant master’s in business, artificial intelligence, data science, computer science, engineering, technology, or a related field. We strongly encourage you to carefully consider which career paths best align with your interests and motivations before submitting your application.

During the first interview, you have to present a case. This is your chance to show your problem-solving skills and how you approach challenges. Don’t worry – there’s no ‘perfect’ answer or approach. We know that everyone has a unique way of thinking, and we’re more focused on understanding your process, communications skills, creativity, and critical thinking.

No, our corporate language is English, so speaking Danish is not a requirement. However, certain projects within specific practices may require Danish language skills.

Recent graduates with a bachelor’s or master’s degree, particularly those in fields related to IT, business, digital transformation, engineering or social science are encouraged to apply. Specific criteria may vary, so check the specific career paths for more information.

Yes, if you plan to graduate before the start of the Graduate program. It is also accepted if you have not received your official graduate diploma before starting in the Graduate Program, as long as you have finished your studies and are just waiting for the official papers.

The IGNITE Graduate Program combines structured learning with hands-on experience. While participating in training sessions and development activities, you will also contribute to client projects or/and internal initiatives, allowing you to apply your learning in a practical consulting environment.
