HOW DOES IT WORK? 

When joining IGNITE, you choose a career path – a customized education and development program to build your skills in the field of your choice. It’s an aggregate of teacher-led training, certifications, and self-study from a wide range of educational materials that will boost your role as an associate consultant at Capgemini. You’ll also apply your learning and gain immediate experience on customer assignments at our biggest clients. And, of course, there will be many team-building activities with your close-knit group of IGNITE colleagues.

IGNITE is not a traditional graduate program. Instead, we offer a custom-made journey towards becoming a fully qualified consultant. You’ll also have an opportunity to share your experiences with a huge network of like-minded peers from all over Scandinavia – and getting the future you want!

This means that you can find one based on your technical skills and area of special interest that could also augment your personal and professional development. WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR IN YOUR APPLICATION

We are looking for ambitious candidates with a strong track record of academic excellence and extracurricular performance. We are a collaborative company and look for people who take the initiative and aren’t afraid to assume responsibility and achieve team-based success. You are about to graduate or have recently graduated with a relevant Master’s in business, IT, engineering, or social science, and your academic grades are among the best in your school. You can provide references and are ready for a fun challenge.

By nature, you thrive in challenging environments, enjoy working with others to achieve a common goal, and approach difficult challenges with an enthusiastic mindset. Written and spoken fluency in English language is a prerequisite for all applicants to the program.

Business & Technology Solutions practice plays a central role in every project Capgemini engages in. We support our clients in leading the process from strategy to tangible IT solutions and transformations on time and within budget. You will learn to take full responsibility for projects, manage stakeholders to ensure high client satisfaction, and coach agile teams to safeguard high performance.

Currently, the Business Technology career path offers positions as Project Manager, Business Analyst, Change Manager, Engagement Manager, Project Consultant, SCRUM Master within the BTS Practice, Digital Health.

Digital Health

Digital Health is a big part of our Business in Capgemini. Within Digital Health we center our business around solving Healthcare specific problems and projects by utilizing innovative IT solutions that makes an impact for clinicians and patients throughout the entire Healthcare ecosystem both nationally and internationally. You will be a part of a team of more than 100 people that have a particular interest in Healthcare and IT where our solutions are always measured in greater societal impacts.

Within the Digital Health we offer a wide array of positions but common for all of the desired profiles is a knowledge of, but more importantly experience or interest in Healthcare and Technology and a passion for making great improvements for clinicians and patients that have impacts on a societal scale.

The Quality Assurance and Testing (QA&T) practice is a vital element in the development of effective and efficient software. As quality advisors and testers, we take on the joint responsibility to continuously deliver IT systems that adhere to customer needs, expectations, and requirements, and that these systems are delivered at the right moment and the right way. Our mission is to provide our partners with an understanding of how an IT solution can benefit their business and bring value to everyone involved in the process.
 
As an IGNITER in the QA&T track, you will be part of a fast-paced and constantly growing practice. QA is only becoming more and more valuable to organizations across industries, meaning that being a senior specialist in any of the QA&T domains will make you a member of a selected group of highly sought-after IT professionals.
 
If you choose the QA&T track, there are various career and development opportunities ready for you to embark on:

As a Test Analyst, you use your understanding of business and user needs to ensure that the IT solution can deliver value and benefit stakeholders. You get to:  

  • Learn and apply state-of-the-art frameworks, theories, and techniques within Quality Assurance and testing to analyze business values, objectives and communicate the potential risks involved in an IT delivery.
  • Develop your skill in planning, estimation, management, and coordination, as multiple different professions all need to collaborate to create the right IT solution. This could also include management of test infrastructure, -data, and -environments.
  • Obtain skills that apply to all forms of application development (app, web, desktop, server, etc.), upon which you will specialize in a business domain or product suite.

As a Technical Test Analyst, you use your technical insight to ensure that the IT solution satisfies the business and user needs. You get to:

  • Specialize in the tools and techniques associated with different domains of testing, e.g., API testing, test automation, security testing, or performance testing.
  • Execute and access tests, report results, and manage anomalies.
  • Learn different methods for test design and test data generation.

You can develop your career further and become a Test manager. Your role will be to:

  • Plan, coordinate, and manage all the test activities.
  • Control/monitor and reporting of test results and the state of the system.
  • Lead projects with a focus on securing the highest possible quality.
  • Take part in project go/no-go decisions.

Whether you consider yourself a Backend, Frontend or perhaps a Fullstack Developer, this career path is designed to “make the connections that make the difference”. Software Engineering and Cloud is our most technical career path where we offer exciting opportunities to develop innovative solutions tailored to our clients’ needs, while utilizing the latest technologies. At our Digital Customer Experience practice, we are passionate about delivering the best digital experiences for customers and employees across Sales, Marketing, Commerce and Service channels. We deliver the right level of expertise to ensure quality in implementing and operating Salesforce Customer 360 solutions.
 
If you choose the DCX track, there are various career opportunities lying ahead of you:
 
A Functional Consultant can expect roles such as: Functional Developer, Salesforce Administrator, Business Analyst, QA Specialist or UX Designer. During the IGNITE program, you will learn to:

  • Create declarative solutions, using declarative platform capabilities. Examples could be UI Design using the Lightning App Builder or Business Process Automation with Flows.
  • Understand business processes and transforming business requirements into viable solutions.
  • Facilitate workshops, stakeholder interviews and end-user training to a broad audience.
  • Create solution documentation and training material, targeted relevant users.
  • Present, demonstrate and communicate proof of concept with a high level of credibility to all types of stakeholders.

Technical Consultant can expect roles such as: Technical Developer, Administrator or QA Specialist. During the IGNITE program, you will learn to:

  • Provide customized solutions using platform coding capabilities. Examples could be APEX, Visualforce and Lightning Web Components.
  • Utilize coding and documentation best practices in all solution deliveries.
  • Utilize programmatic problem solving, in order to develop sustainable and efficient solutions.
  • Integrate systems and applications with Salesforce.
  • Present, demonstrate and communicate proof of concept with a high level of credibility to all types of stakeholders.

In our Package Based Solution practice, we enable our clients to effectively run and continuously improve their core business processes leveraging SAP’s technology offerings. We engage with our customers across a variety of activities such as advisory, implementation and roll-out, and operations and support services. Whether your passion is within Finance, Controlling, Supply Chain and Logistics, or any other domain, you will join a great team of like-minded professionals sharing the passion to enable companies to achieve greater business outcomes via technology.



The Package Based Solution career path offers several opportunities for developing you professionally as well as personally – whether your dream is to become an SAP functional consultant able to advise customers and configure SAP’s products to meet the customer’s requirements, an SAP developer delivering strong backend and frontend solutions, or rather pursue a career within engagement management as a project or program manager. As a new SAP Igniter, you will receive training and certification within a certain SAP track alongside colleagues from the rest of the Nordics and afterwards be involved in one of our customer engagements alongside a senior colleague delivering real value to our customers.
