Could you please give us an insight into your role and area of operations?

I have been in Capgemini for the last 4 years, I am Global Client Partner for ERD, overseeing partnerships with three key pharma clients and one CDMO (pharma manufacturer) across multiple regions. My journey to this position began two years ago, empowered by notable accomplishments in Switzerland that opened the door to global opportunities. In my role, I am dedicated to coordinating efforts and delivering value to our clients worldwide, establishing and enhancing CXO-level relationships. My aim is to effectively showcase Capgemini’s portfolio of assets under a unified strategy, with the goal of developing comprehensive, multi-tower deals, as ONE Capgemini.

How do you think is it important to the success of Capgemini in Switzerland?

In my role, the success we are achieving in Switzerland is crucial for Capgemini’s growth and our engagement with clients. It demonstrates that our specialized approach to the unique requirements of regulated industries like Biopharma is effective, establishing us as a reliable partner and clearing the way for more global initiatives and partnerships.

We must differentiate ourselves by deeply understanding our clients’ main challenges and ensuring we have sufficient time to develop the best solutions for them, which go through anticipating internally as well.

This strategy should position us as leaders in the market, highlighting the importance of accurately understanding our clients’ needs and delivering tailored solutions.

Could you describe the main requirements of your client(s) and the solution we are providing?

Most of the time, it’s about efficiency, ongoing improvement, Smart Factory, Intelligent Industry, and having the best people involved.

For example, we have delivered an integrated schedule for operational readiness in a biopharma plant which was crucial because it ensures that all aspects of the facility – from production lines and quality control to supply chain management – are synchronized and prepared for full-scale operation.

This coordination not only mitigates the risk of delays and financial losses but also ensures compliance with stringent regulatory standards, thereby safeguarding product quality and patient safety.

What are your top three to five priorities in the coming year?

  1. Bring a Multitower/ Large Deal which we would enable us to bring more and continuous value to our client.
  2. Improve and maintain the CXO intimacy with our clients.
  3. Keeping the focus on enhancing resilience among our teams and in our strategies, ensuring we can rapidly adjust to any market changes and preserve our competitive advantage.

What do you see as the key challenges that we may face in this area?

One challenge we could face is not dedicating sufficient focus to communicating with our clients, which may lead to missed opportunities or a misunderstanding of their current business challenges. We should spend more time engaging with our clients and better utilize the capabilities of our extensive organization through the different BL’s and Geo’s.

Any other key information you would like to share about your area of work?

As a Global Client Partner, it’s crucial to set an example of leadership, not just within the sales community but in our organization in general. We represent our clients’ interests, meaning we must ensure that we fulfill our commitments, both to external and internal clients. This requires us to excel in communication and to possess a deep sense of empathy.

Could you share with us any one thing about you not widely known to the team?

While living in Spain, I worked in the orange groves before starting university because my family needed support, and I needed to work. This physically demanding job taught me to appreciate different aspects of life and helped forge a strong work ethic. Thanks to this experience, I’m always reminded of the importance of gratitude for the opportunities we have today.
