Keynote session

Capgemini Portugal contributed to the analysis of the future of Portugal with the participation of Rodrigo Cordeiro, Country Head of Capgemini Engineering, an area specialized in intelligent engineering solutions, research and development, on the panel PORTUGAL AS THE NEXT SILICION VALLEY OF EUROPE.

Rodrigo Cordeiro, throughout the session, presented Capgemini’s vision of Portugal as the next Silicon Valley, emphasizing how Capgemini Engineering – a part of Capgemini – is already an example in the national Research and Development landscape due to its constant investment in this area.

Large companies are a key variable in this equation. “These companies have less time to fail and to test, but on the other hand, they have capabilities such as attracting R&D centers to Portugal and, above all, the ability to reinvent themselves”, said Rodrigo Cordeiro.
