Capgemini America is proud to be named a “Best Places to Work for LGBTQ Equality,” and received a perfect score on the 2019 Corporate Equality Index (CEI) developed by the Human Rights Campaign Foundation (HRC). The annual, national benchmarking survey and report rates companies on corporate policies and practices related to lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer (LGBTQ) workplace equality.

The report recognized our LGBTQA+ (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, Allies and others)-related policies and practices, including our Transgender inclusive health benefits. Efforts made by OUTfront were also cited, Capgemini’s LGBTQA+ employee resource group (ERG) that provides a forum for education and awareness to support the professional growth of LGBTQA+ individuals and foster a safe environment within Capgemini North America.

Since its launch in 2007, OUTfront has become an integral part of our employee engagement, client intimacy, community service and high-impact team development. For example, OUTfront Burbank has raised almost $30,000 in AIDS Walks initiatives in Los Angeles and employees will be walking in this year’s NYC Pride March.

Diversity and Inclusion is a central pillar of providing a welcoming workplace for everyone from any background at Capgemini.
