Barry Wong has joined Cap Gemini Ernst & Young as General Counsel for the
UK & Ireland. Barry’s role will involve managing an established team of six
in-house lawyers, sourcing and instructing external lawyers, providing legal advice
and guidance to executive management and negotiating large scale, complex services
deals. He will be based at the company’s UK HQ in Woking, Surrey.

Barry joins CGE&Y from IBM. He spent over four years at IBM where he provided
advice on strategic outsourcing, systems integration, consulting, M&A and
financing transactions, both in the UK and internationally and across all industry
sectors. Prior to IBM, Barry worked at Norton Rose, Allen & Overy and Bristows
and he has specialised in all forms of commercial, technology, corporate and banking
law.
