JOIN US TO DISCUSS THE IMPORTANCE OF CLIMATE ADAPTATION

Systemic Innovation Event Series – Climate Adaptation

20 March 2024, 3pm – 5:30pm

Location: The Conduit 6 Langley St, London WC2H 9JA

Capgemini and Forum for the Future are hosting a roundtable discussion exploring the importance of Climate Adaptation.

On the day we will be exploring the opportunity for climate adaptation and how organisations can work across the value chains to build resilience in the face of climate change. We will also delve into the strategic challenges business leaders face when embedding climate adaptation into new or existing business models.

Join like-minded professionals from across the consumer products and apparel sectors, as we discuss critical questions such as:

  • Climate change adaptation solutions often focus on addressing the physical consequences of climate change such as extreme heat and flooding. How can we reframe climate risk by understanding its interconnected impacts?
  • Climate change adaption is often addressed at a farm, or supplier level. How might businesses unlock the climate adaptation solutions which have a systemic impact, across the whole value chain?
  • What is the role of technology and how can it drive positive social impact in value chains whilst also increasing physical resilience for a changing climate?

This is the third in a series of invitation-only roundtable events, exploring leading practitioners’ insights and building on Capgemini and Forum for the Future’s work on how to unlock systemic innovation. Past events in this series explored Transforming Consumption and Radical Transparency.
