Last night the ISG Paragon Awards for Europe were announced at a gala celebration in London. Together with our client Environment Agency, we won in the Collaboration category. We were also finalists in the Impact category with Heathrow Airport and the Service Excellence category with Centrica – more details on Capgemini’s shortlisted entries are available here.
Our entry with the Environment Agency was for the successful development of Pragmatic Project Delivery (PPD), a scalable, cooperative approach that has helped the EA to modernise and digitalise its IT. PPD meets the EA’s particular need for extremely rapid delivery of certain projects. An especially relevant example in recent years has been its response to extreme weather events.
Lance Doughty, Senior VP, EA Account Executive at Capgemini, commented: “The category of Collaboration was hotly contested, so we are delighted to have been successful. Keith Spikings, the EA CIO, was also very proud that we won. The collaborative approach that is at the heart of our relationship with the Agency has paid dividends once again!”
Ed Gardner, Head of Advisor Relations at Capgemini, commented: “ISG is the world’s most influential outsourcing advisor and their annual awards programme brings a powerful endorsement to a select number of service providers. Our success this year illustrates the enormous value that Capgemini is bringing to its client organisations, and also the level of respect that we have earned from the ISG advisory teams.”
