Employee Resource Groups

Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) at Capgemini are voluntary, employee-led centers of excellence for development, retention, engagement, recruiting, and knowledge sharing. Collectively, they value differences and fuel our people experience by partnering across the United States and Canada. ERGs empower us to live out our Corporate Responsibility ambitions and create impact for our clients, society, and all of our colleagues – inclusive of everyone at Capgemini across Global Business Lines and Strategic Business Units.

Why join an ERG?

  • Unlock avenues within Capgemini to expand your network and cultivate community
  • Gain useful experience by engaging with clients, culture, career, and community to open the door for new leadership opportunities or future roles
  • Deeply engage with Corporate Social Responsibility at Capgemini
  • Impact the communities in which we live and work through service
  • Develop and refine communication and presentation skills to discover additional paths to achieve your career goals
  • Lead sustainable initiatives around the world that support our employer and partner choice goals

Armed Forces Network Americas

The Armed Forces Network Americas is our veterans’ ERG dedicated to helping veterans and veteran families build successful careers at Capgemini.

As part of our commitment to supporting US Veterans, Capgemini partnered with Salesforce Military/Hiring Our Heroes to provide fellowships to veterans and military spouses. This 12-week immersive fellowship provides an opportunity to gain targeted experience as a certified Salesforce professional. In January 2023, because of this program, Capgemini Government Solutions welcomed five fellowship participants into full- time roles.

AsiaPacT

AsiaPacT seeks to empower Asians and allies through talent, tech, and togetherness to break barriers and be a catalyst for change. In light of Anti-Asian hate crimes, AsiaPacT partnered with the non-profit “Hate is a Virus” to amplify Asians and Asian Americans while giving back to the community. In addition to partnerships, education, and community-building, AsiaPacT leads the celebrations for Lunar New Year, Diwali, and Asian American Pacific Islander Heritage Month (AAPIHM) each year.

Black X

The mission of Black X is to further the development of diversity and inclusion within Capgemini, as well as promote Capgemini’s core values, with emphasis on communities of African descent.

Global Organization for Leadership and Diversity (GOLD)

The mission of GOLD is to help our members bridge the complex boundaries of working globally by providing team members with skills to become inclusive leaders.

Hispanic Opportunity Leadership Achievement (HOLA)

The mission of HOLA is to promote a mutually beneficial integration of strengths that exist between the Hispanic/Latino and Non-Hispanic/Latino members of Capgemini.

HOLA organizes and promotes events that serve our communities and encourage Hispanic/Latinx cultural awareness, including Hispanic Heritage Month, through volunteering and partnering with TechGirlz and Girls Who Code to teach skills and share experiences with others, and providing the opportunity to meet top Hispanic leaders in technology through HITEC’s (Hispanic Technology Executive Council) Summits.

Life Integration for Everyone (LIFE)

LIFE works to create a culture of openness on work-life topics by raising awareness of new and innovative resources to support an improved lifestyle, providing forums for employees and leaders to share their concerns, knowledge, and experiences on wellness-related matters, and organizing community events that encourage and support leading integrated and productive lives.

CapAbility, a community within LIFE, seeks to provide advocacy, representation, and resources to disabled employees, those with functional limitations, and employees who are caregivers.

Mentoring Matters

Mentoring Matters’ mission is to help connect our employees across the US and Canada with a mentoring partner to strengthen and develop employee networks, provide guidance related to the attainment of career and personal aspirations, and foster a culture of coaching and sense of inclusion.

Movements in Innovation Council (MIC)

MIC aims to focus on driving innovation within and outside of Capgemini. MIC is a sandbox for employees across generations to explore cutting-edge technology, develop new ideas, and promote positive change. MIC strives to inspire individuals within our community to innovate, create, and lead.

Organized Carbon and Environmental Action Network (OCEAN)

The mission of OCEAN is to learn, engage, and take action by providing access to sustainability resources, education, and opportunities for anyone passionate about saving the planet.

OCEAN is the sustainability-focused ERG at Capgemini. Each year, OCEAN facilitates Earth Week celebrations that are open to all employees across the United States and Canada. To celebrate Earth Week in 2022, OCEAN held in-person reforestation events in five cities across the United States and hosted a Carbon Credit Challenge to see who could complete the most sustainable actions in a period of time. Through these Earth Week events, OCEAN members saved almost two tons of carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions in just two weeks!

OUTfront

OUTfront passionately and actively advocates for inclusion initiatives within the LGBTQ+ community. Its initiatives develop an internal culture of inclusion and awareness through educational content and support for an open-minded working environment.

There are 25 global chapters across the Capgemini Group. It was the first-ever ERG at Capgemini and has led initiatives such as inclusive same-sex spousal, domestic partner, and inclusive family-formation benefits, including adoption and healthcare benefits for transgender people.

Women@Capemini Americas

The mission of Women@Capgemini Americas is to cultivate and sustain a culture where women can thrive at Capgemini. They provide growth, balance, and leadership opportunities through excellence, action, and development by empowering women and men to work together to bridge the gender gap.
