People Unit Head

Hungary

Tell us about your role. What does a day in your life at Capgemini look like?

I have a shared role being responsible for the People Unit in Hungary and lead recruitment. It means that I can follow our new joiners’ career path from the first interview to their whole journey with Capgemini. So, starting from reading CVs and conducting interviews, convincing the best talents to choose Capgemini to target settings, performance review and the planning of learning paths, career development, I have a wide range of responsibilities.

What’s the best thing about working at Capgemini?

It’s a combination of things: having freedom to make decisions in my work, career, the flexibility that the Group provides, the opportunity to always develop new skills and the possibility to make an effect on the team I work with.

What makes you proud to work at Capgemini?

When you become a leader, your team success becomes your driver. The projects they complete, the development they go through, the targets they overachieve, the success of the consultant that you hired once makes you proud every day. The essence of the People Unit is that we put our people in the center and we set the expectations high, but we create an environment that they can still over-achieve.

How are you working towards the future you want?

Every day I work on hiring the talents for our organization and I never give up on improving myself, both in technical and soft skills.

What advice would you give to someone joining Capgemini?

I have a favorite phrase which is used a lot, but still very true: Do what you love and love what you do. If you do so, it will help you achieve great results while still having fun.
