  • How do you feel in the morning getting up and going to work at Capgemini
    I am genuinely excited to join my colleagues at the client site every morning. I love working as part of a team and get great satisfaction from understanding how we can help each other and learn from each other. Knowing that we are all working to continuously develop ourselves further and push for the best possible client outcomes motivates me to get up and go to work.
  • What do you love about your job?
    I love the variety Capgemini gives me. I have the incredible opportunity to deliver for my clients, develop and recruit new talent, and continue to build my expertise in a specific area. I have never been a fan of routine and having such multi-faceted opportunities in one job is what keeps me here.One day I am in a client workshop to help them with their digital transformation journey, the other I am hosting an induction event for new  graduates, the next I am defining a service offer for Agile transformation & Enablement, and I also regularly get the chance to attend or run training sessions. The variety of the job is what makes me love what I do.
  • How does Capgemini empower you to master your skills?
    A clear career path and a gradual increase in my responsibilities has helped; as well as the strong support network we have around the company. However, the most important thing is the freedom I am given to explore and try new things in various settings. You can only truly master something when you have experienced it and done it repeatedly in a variety of ways.
  • How does Capgemini help support your sense of purpose in your career?
    Capgemini regularly supports my involvement in topics I am genuinely interested in and passionate about. For instance, I am truly passionate about developing young employees and helping them shape their career with the company. Capgemini has offered me the opportunity to look after the Capgemini Invent UK graduate scheme and I take great pride in guiding the next generation of consultants to achieve their full potential.
  • How does Capgemini give you the autonomy to make decisions?
    Capgemini is a company that values self-starters and people with an entrepreneurial spirit and it is my personal experience that you are always given a lot of autonomy and responsibility early on. The best thing about making decisions at Capgemini is the freedom you are very quickly afforded from most of the people you work with. Equally, “autonomy” does not mean you are alone. I have always been given a strong support network of likeminded individuals to accelerate and test my thinking.
  • What do you love about the way of working at Capgemini?
    The collegiate and collaborative DNA of this  company is great. We respect and acknowledge the fact that this is a people business and client outcomes can only be achieved if our people are happy and proud to work for Capgemini. I have had the chance to meet people from all over the world through an amazing global leadership program called Connect & Drive, and I can vouch for the fact that our Capgemini ways of working are respected everywhere, which makes collaboration much easier from the get-go.
  • How does this all combine for you to have passion for what you do?
    As mentioned earlier, for me it boils down to the variety that my career at Capgemini has given me so far. It has ticked so many boxes: from being able to explore technology, being exposed to big organizations, to working on thought leadership and critical business challenges; it is just amazing to be able to combine more than one passion in one career.
  • What was your most memorable moment in your Capgemini journey?
    Being given the honor of looking after and managing the Capgemini Invent graduate community was a personal highlight. This community has grown from 60 people to 120 over the last two years and now represents a significant part of our Capgemini Invent UK business.
  • What are you an Ace at?
    I am an Ace at building long term client relationships, implementing large scale transformation programs, and ensuring the realization of sustainable benefits for my clients.
