Virtualization seems to be fighting with Cloud Computing in terms of popularity of the terms currently, yet remarkably few people know that Cloud Computing is in fact�an advanced form of Virtualization.�The technology�has a long history starting back in the 1960s mainframes and has moved through several iterations to the definition that most people know of today, created by the popularity of VMware, and will continue to grow into the fully virtualised environment of Cloud Computing of tomorrow.
