Capgemini at Farnborough International Airshow 2026

Deploy faster. Collaborate securely. Act now.

Capgemini exhibited at the Farnborough International Air Show from July 20-24, 2026, demonstrating how aerospace and defense (A&D) organizations can innovate faster, and operate with trust and sovereignty in an increasingly complex world.

We welcomed guests to our stand in Hall 1 that featured OMNISS and MAESTRO, demonstrations of AI-driven technologies, interoperability, and collaboration are helping transform the A&D industry. At our chalet overlooking the airfield, clients and industry leaders engaged in strategic discussions on the sector’s most pressing priorities, set against the backdrop of FIA’s daily flying displays.

Themes discussed throughout the week

Augmented digital engineering
Visitors explored how AI-augmented engineering is helping organizations accelerate processes end to end in increasingly complex development environments.

Production acceleration
Discussions focused on how smart factory, automation, and AI-enabled manufacturing capabilities can help scale production with greater quality, resilience, and speed.

Software-enabled A&D
Visitors discovered how software-defined, interoperable, and autonomous systems are transforming mission effectiveness and enabling more agile operations.

Secure sovereignty
Conversations highlighted how secure, sovereign digital foundations enable organizations to innovate with trust while maintaining control of critical data, systems, and operations.

Demos on display

MAESTRO

One of our featured demos was MAESTRO (Multi-Agent Edge-Sovereign Technologies for Ramp-up & Orchestration), an edge-sovereign multi-agent orchestration layer that connects enterprise data, operational processes, human decisions and field devices to run complex A&D operations, from engineering to the field.

OMNISS

Our principal demo was OMNISS (Open Mission Network for Interoperability, Security and Sovereignty), a federated ecosystem initiative launched by Capgemini to enable secure, sovereign interoperability across European defense systems. Its open software framework connects existing C2 systems, enabling collaboration while preserving each partner’s technology sovereignty. At FIA, 19 organizations signed Letters of Interest to explore collaboration opportunities around OMNISS. Want to see OMNISS in action? Explore the demo here.

Also, watch Frederic, Combes, Global A&D Leader, walking through OMNISS and MAESTRO in the Capgemini stand, addressing how these demos are driving transformation throughout the A&D product lifecycle.

Our speaking sessions at FIA 2026

Sustainability panel: Which propulsion technologies will actually scale?

Cyril Garcia, Global Sustainability Head at Capgemini, and Jean-Christophe Lambert, CEO and Co-Founder of Ascendance, explored the propulsion technologies most likely to enable sustainable aviation at scale and what it will take to accelerate industry adoption.

Mark Chang, Director at Capgemini, explored the technologies shaping the future of secure space communications and data infrastructure, including optical and quantum-based capabilities.

Dominic Corrigan, Delivery Executive at Capgemini, and Louise Brown, Head of IT – Customer Products at Heathrow Airport, explored how digital technologies are reshaping the passenger journey across every stage of travel.

FIA 2026 may be over, but the conversations, partnerships, and innovations sparked here will continue to shape the future of A&D. We look forward to building on this momentum and reconnecting with the industry at the Paris Air Show in June 2027.
