Chief Financial Officer – India and Head Global Shared Service, Capgemini

Sujit Sircar is the Chief Financial Officer – India and Head Global Shared Service at Capgemini.

As CFO of Capgemini in India, Sujit is responsible for the financial operations of the India entity comprising of more than 150,000 people. In his global role as the Head of Shared Services, he is responsible for operations for Finance in Capgemini on a global shared service platform.

Sujit has more than 22 years of rich and diverse experience in corporate finance with US and Indian public listed companies and three years of experience in global business roles. Prior to this, Sujit was the Chief Operating Officer – North America Application Service at Capgemini. During this period, he has was responsible for driving business transformation, growth and profitability of various service lines in Capgemini.

He was CFO of erstwhile IGATE Corporation, a 4.5-billion USD Nasdaq listed corporation from 2008 to 2015 until it was acquired by Capgemini. In erstwhile IGATE, he was instrumental in steering two large acquisitions – acquisition of Patni Computer by former IGATE and later, the sale of IGATE to Capgemini for 4.5 billion USD. He was also responsible for listing and later delisting of the company both in US and Indian stock exchanges.

Sujit started his career with Wipro Limited and was instrumental in setting up the finance processes for its joint venture with British Telecom. During his five-year service with Wipro Limited, he handled various job responsibilities and was the Finance Head for various divisions of the company.

Sujit is a Chartered Accountant and is a Fellow Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.
