Chandra Reddy

Executive Vice President & Managing Director, Capgemini Engineering, India

Chandra Reddy is the EVP & MD of Capgemini Engineering in India. In his current role, he is responsible to lead the strategy and operating plans for ER&D in India. Chandra drives and leads the entire Capgemini Engineering Team in India, addressing 350+ clients globally.
 
Prior to this, Chandra was CEO of Altran India. Chandra has spent more than 25 years leading engineering deliveries for Product Engineering Industry, providing delivery leadership on leading-edge technologies and Innovative Products and Solutions for Global Clients across the Americas, Europe, and Asia. He was the force behind the Industrialization of ER&D services and delivery transformation for many customers.

Chandra handles engineering for diverse Industries in Communications, Semiconductors, Industrial, Automotive, Life Sciences, Energy & Utilities, Railways, Aerospace, and the Internet. Chandra drives digital and software transformation across the industries. He handles P&L responsibilities for Capgemini Engineering in India, driving profitability and leading delivery excellence
Before joining Altran, he worked with Wipro for nearly 17 years where he played a multifaceted role including Sales, Portfolio and Delivery

Chandra holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics and a Master’s degree in Communication and Electronics from the University Visvesvaraya College of Engineering (UVCE) in Bangalore.

He has an energetic personality, is a natural leader who believes in leading from the front, is a great communicator, and is an active fitness enthusiast. Chandra also keenly follows cricket and is passionate about playing the game.
