Ananth Chandramouli has been appointed as the Vice President & Head – Local Business Services, India at Capgemini. Ananth bears more than two decades of rich cross-functional experience in technology, consulting, delivery and sales driving sustainable growth for organizations in both developed (US and UK) and emerging (India) markets.
As the Managing Director for Local Business Services, he is responsible for formulating go-to-market strategies, driving revenue growth, managing client relationships, collaborating with partners, developing talent and overseeing the overall P&L of LBS in Indian market.
Prior to joining Capgemini, Ananth was part of the leadership team at Infosys. His role commanded setting up and driving business in India across various sectors including Energy & Utilities, Manufacturing, Retail and Telecom. Ananth has been focusing on evangelizing adoption of digital & cloud technology in enterprises across various sectors including Banking, Telecom, Retail and Manufacturing.
He has co-authored a seminal report for Ministry of Power on the adoption of Digital Technology for distribution utilities which culminated in a large reforms program funded by the Government of India. Ananth has also been an avid speaker at various conferences on the evolution of Smart Grid and has supported various Indian Utility companies to drive Smart Grid initiatives effectively.
Ananth holds a Bachelor in Electrical Engineering from Anna University, a Masters in Technology (Electrical Engineering) from IIT Kanpur and an MBA from IIM Bangalore.
