• How do you feel in the morning, getting up and going to work at Capgemini?

I feel a sense of hope, energy and responsibility while on my way to office. I do not feel tired or away from home either.

• What do you love about your job?

I get to explore new technologies and experience challenging opportunities. This further helps me shape my career in various ways.

• How does Capgemini empower you to master your skills?

What I admire the most about Capgemini is the opportunities provided for women employees; especially for the ones who have taken a break for unavoidable personal reasons. I had been working with an MNC before, after which I took a 4-year break for my son. Resuming my career was not easy, but the way Capgemini treated me made me feel at home and I will always be grateful for that.

• How does Capgemini help support your sense of purpose in your career?

The various employee engagement sessions and programs, especially the HR connect sessions, periodic feedback sessions, learning sessions and career development programs, have helped me create a sense of purpose in my career. I have been given the opportunity to work on multiple technologies and platforms. This has helped me sharpen my skills and will further shape my career in the long run.

• How does Capgemini give you the autonomy to make decisions?

Capgemini has always given me the required space to shape my work and environment in a way that allows me to deliver the best, by upholding the values and policies of the organization. This sense of ownership has helped me to become more creative, innovative and passionate at work!

• What do you love about the way of working at Capgemini?

The energy of people, honesty, respect, HR connect sessions for women & the freedom to chalk out our career paths are the core reasons as to why I love this organization.

• How does this all combine for you to have passion for what you do?

I have gained exposure to banking products, have been given the opportunity to work on niche technologies and be a part of the Top Client.
Considering that I have been given the opportunity to work on niche technologies, I get to learn about emerging and existing banking products. This also allows me to be a part of top clients.

• What was your most memorable moment in your Capgemini journey?

To be honest, my most memorable moment was the day I was offered to be part of this organization. Also, the day Gayathri Ramamurthy had a conversation about my career comeback and her inspiring words about women at work was a day to cherish as well.

• What are you an Ace at?

I love to stay relevant with the latest technologies and practices. I ace Oracle PLSQL Unix Dev Ops.
