My usual work day

My usual workday starts at 8 in the morning, when I check my mail and make a list of to-dos for the day. Once in office, I chart out the immediate deliverables. I also prioritize my activities and make a list basis which I complete the activities that need immediate action and defer the ones that can be put off for a later time. A lot of my time is spent on research and documenting the same. On days of low clarity on my activities, I try to clarify and get a head start for my future activities.

My Hobbies

Reading fiction novels and graphic novels are activities that gain my time and attention. I am also into writing articles, short stories and poems. I am an avid quizzer and try to participate in as many quizzes as I can. However, it is hosting a quiz that intrigues me most. I have been a massive gamer and try my hand at it from time to time. I also follow football, cricket and tennis, and am an ardent Chelsea and Nadal fan. Sometimes, I play a little bit of football or badminton, although I am no athlete.

My personal life

My family consists of my father, my mother and my sister. My father is a retired professional from a public sector undertaking and my sister is pursuing fashion designing. I love spending my weekends with my friends – exploring places to eat or watching a movie, or simply participating in pub quizzes. I am an amateur keyboard player. Music and good food are my resorts to fix my mood.

Expectation from E.L.I.T.E. General Management Program

The major expectation that I have from the E.L.I.T.E. program is gaining knowledge – be it in the form of technical knowledge, interpersonal skills or personal development. Furthermore, I expect to connect with leaders and other colleagues and build my professional network in the process. Through all these I expect that I will be able to move on the fast track lane of career growth and reach a leadership position, which will help me make an impact in the organization.
