Tell us about your role. What does a day in your life at Capgemini look like?

Not one day is the same as the previous one at Capgemini. There is something new to learn each day, which helps me grow personally and professionally. I am fortunate to be part of a team of brilliant and compassionate individuals who are passionate about the work they do. A typical day for me involves regular interactions with my team, creating outputs, and brainstorming with my colleagues on research approaches. But one of the things I look forward to most is the fun hour on Fridays with the team.

What’s the best thing about working at Capgemini?

Informal culture in a formal structure. Even in a structured environment, our leaders are always approachable, enabling a highly transparent system of communication. It is a culture that encourages us to challenge the status quo.

What makes you proud to work at Capgemini?

At Capgemini, we value individual accountability and hold ourselves responsible for our performance. Value addition and achieving excellence through our work is prioritized over the number of hours we log in each day, which motivates us to put in 100% efforts in any endeavor we take on.

How are you working towards the future you want?

I play a small part in our overall vision of enhancing the customer experience in the value chain. The role enables me to step out of my comfort zone and challenges me every day to perform better.

The projects I have worked on have allowed me to explore different dimensions of stakeholder management and customer experience. I am grateful to be playing my part in helping Capgemini to further its vision of transforming digital customer experience across the globe.

What advice would you give to someone joining Capgemini?

From the start, my team ensured that learning and adapting to this new culture does not overwhelm me. They struck a good balance of autonomy to help me learn at my own pace with adequate exposure to the company culture. The initial days made me realize Capgemini’s scale and impact on the global digital transformation.

If you want to be challenged, grow every day, and be recognized for your work, this is the place to be.

How do you think Capgemini’s support has been since the pandemic began?

My team has been incredibly supportive since day one. The flexibility in work hours and their consistent efforts in making work-life balance a norm has made work from home a harmonious experience.

I am extremely grateful for the overwhelming efforts of the organization in ensuring the overall wellbeing of all its people. I am especially thankful for the efforts by Capgemini towards vaccinating not only employees but also their family members and for enabling all forms of medical care and support to all those afflicted by COVID-19.
