How do you feel in the morning getting up and going to work in the new normal?

Its new, it’s different. The pandemic has accelerated a shift in how and where we work. What was once the ‘future of work’ has become a thing of the past. My routines are especially centred around the workday and when forced to change those daily patterns, it was tough, but I ramped up to include healthier and more mindful habits in my day. I get excited to show up at the work every day for two reasons. One is the people I work with, their passion and willing to work hard. And two, the work I’m doing is producing results that matter to people and the business.

What do you love about your job?

I love solving business problems using technology. In Group IT, I can leverage the latest technology to improve the ways we all work. The ultimate satisfaction for me in work is to see a smile on the face of customers after receiving our service.

How does Group IT empower you to master your skills?

Our leadership team believes in letting people show and exercise their full potential. I feel empowered to try new ways and stretch my wings with challenging work assignments. The incredible support system at Capgemini helps employee enhance their skills through continuous learning and individual development plans, thanks to which I too have advanced in my career.  A mature, global career framework at Capgemini gives us career structure and clarity, with competencies to master at every level up to Vice President.

How does Group IT help support your sense of purpose in your career?

Group IT makes me feel that the job I am doing makes a real difference to other people and in contributing to the greater good. I am amazed how much I’ve been able to develop as a professional and as a person. It gives me the opportunity to participate, collaborate, and is the platform for innovation and success.

How does this all combine for you to have passion for what you do?

Capgemini encourages all our people to find purpose in their passion, and empower them by providing the right skills, experiences, and development opportunities.

My role at Capgemini allows me to work with technology problems. Building teams and developing people provides an opportunity to explore my passions. It helps to find purpose in my passion and turns work into something truly meaningful that makes a difference to the lives of others.

What was your most memorable moment in your Capgemini journey?

There is a myriad of grateful moments I’ve experienced over the years in Capgemini. So, what I will pick out is a very recent one. I won the Excellence in People Leadership Awards (EPLA) 2020-21, the most coveted award recognizing People Leadership skills at Capgemini. My experience with the EPLA Award has been nothing short of spectacular and a proud moment in my professional career. I am grateful for the continued support and guidance from Global support and GIT leaders. I am extremely proud to be part of this amazing team.
