My usual work day
My typical work day begins with sorting my calendar and prioritizing my daily tasks. I spend most of my day identifying opportunities to grow the footprint for Learning Lifecycle Management offerings within Capgemini and externally. I usually connect with multiple colleagues across countries, mostly through conference calls to evangelize the offer and help make a sale. In my role as a Global Process Owner (GPO) I am also responsible for developing innovative solutions for the clients which usually takes up a considerable part of my time. On some days, my entire work day gets consumed in either resolving a delivery issue or responding to an RFP/proposal. I also make it a point to connect with my work friends over lunch and coffee breaks to exchange ideas as well as have some fun conversation.
My life at Capgemini
Capgemini is a wonderful place to work and my journey so far has been filled with multiple memorable moments. I believe that Capgemini’s people centric culture has given me the opportunity to realize my full potential as a professional. I have worked across various projects and streams and was always encouraged to take bold decisions. Out of the seven core values of Capgemini, I identify the most with “Freedom”, which has encouraged me to innovate and create a niche space for myself at Capgemini. My interactions with Capgemini’s Senior Leadership have always been encouraging and I have been fortunate to work on strategic projects such as HR Transformation Roadmap and Location Strategy for expansion of Capgemini India. I am also proud to be working under the leadership of our CEO, Aruna Jayanthi, who today is recognized as a leading women CEO from India.

My personal life
I consider myself to be a true Mumbaikar who lives her life in a fast paced energetic way and yet has loads of fun. I am married and love spending my free time with family and friends. I always make the effort of finding time to pursue hobbies like gardening, reading and watching movies. I love taking short and long vacations to new places at regular intervals. I am also deeply interested in exploring various meditation techniques and my most recent experience has been with “Vipassna Meditation”, based on a Buddhist philosophy.
