Generative AI for Sustainable Mobility

Essential to face climate change challenges, the decarbonization of transport will not only require the electrification of vehicles, but also a significant shift in traffic towards collective, shared and/or active mobility. However, to facilitate and accelerate this modal shift, it is not just a question of developing networks or increasing financial incentives: we also need to appeal to travellers with an offer that is clear, appropriate, practical and economical. Attracting and retaining new customers away from the private car is one of the main challenges facing mobility authorities and transport operators today. Technological innovations will play a key role in meeting this challenge, particularly generative AI.
