– Tell us about your role. What does a day in your life at Capgemini look like?

Currently, I am working for a client in the logistics and supply chain industry as a product owner of their order management system. The role requires deep understanding of the client’s business and processes and close collaboration with stakeholders on different levels. My workdays are mostly planned with meetings and calls on a wide range of topics, from regular standups, ad-hoc workshops, or upstreaming activities with my development teams, to alignment with other business areas for requirements and release planning, and more. I make sure my product backlog is maintained in the best interest of my client and the development downstream can deliver value to our client as expected.

– What’s the best thing about working at Capgemini?

One thing that I like very much here is that your personal choice of development is not only wishful thinking, but is backed by resources and organizational support. There are plenty of ways to keep your knowledge up-to-date or build up new skills. – How are you working towards the future you want?

My wish to advance in my career and gain experience in my preferred domain has been fully supported by my PDL (people manager) since day one of joining Capgemini. Indeed, if you set up your goal, you will find enough help and support along your journey.
