A Vibrant Diwali party

Celebrating the Official Launch of Landed Arrival Lounge and the Festival of Lights

On the 21st of November, the radiant spirit of Diwali illuminated Park7 as we came together for a spectacular celebration of light, culture, and camaraderie, marking the launch of the Landed Arrival Lounge (LAL) initiative.

At LAL, we’re dedicated to making our international colleagues feel at home. We achieve this through a supportive environment, offering dedicated buddies and a network of ambassadors in Belgium. This fosters inclusivity, collaboration, and innovation within our organization. Buddies assist with practical matters, ensuring newcomers feel secure, while ambassadors share guidance on local culture, customs, and language courses for a seamless transition. At first instance, we are focusing on helping out our Indian colleagues, hence we kick off our LAL with a Diwali celebration.

LAL’s Purpose:

  • LAL offers comprehensive support to all colleagues, whether new or seasoned, creating a warm welcome for everyone.
  • It fosters a culture valuing individual differences, encouraging collaboration and innovation within our diverse workforce.
  • LAL isn’t just a space; it’s a community where we celebrate our diverse cultures and traditions, with an exciting event ahead!

The 50 enthusiastic participants from all the different Capgemini units have made the event an unforgettable affair filled with joyous moments and cultural richness.

The vibrant festivities were a sight to behold, with dazzling dancers swaying to the beats. The colorful saris adorned by the attendees added a joyful touch, painting the event with the elegance and grace of traditional Indian attire.

Of course, what’s a celebration without traditional treats? The Diwali event boasted an array of mouth-watering dishes that enjoyed our taste buds.

The music resonated through the halls, creating an ambiance of jubilation. The best of traditional tunes merged with contemporary melodies, inviting everyone to join in the festive spirit. Conversations flowed freely, fostering a sense of unity among colleagues. It was the perfect time to connect and network.

This event was a testament to the richness of cultural diversity and the beauty of coming together to celebrate traditions. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our organizers – Shilpa Bhixavati, Adriana Mocanu, and Trupti Waghmare – and our sponsors –Annlore Defossez and Laurent Barbazanges– who contributed to making this event a success and look forward to more moments of share celebration and networking through the LAL Initiative.
