Megan Caywood
Managing Director and Global Head of Digital Strategy

Megan Caywood is the Managing Director and Global Head of Digital Strategy at Barclays.

Previously, Caywood was co-founder and Chief Platform Officer at Starling Bank, a technology company with a banking license. Under her leadership, Starling launched the first mobile-only current account in the UK and has since been voted “Best British Bank” and “Best Current Account” the 2019 British Bank Awards. Starling Bank has also won “Hottest Fintech startup” at the Europas Awards.

Caywood has also worked as a product manager at Xero, helping the cloud-based accounting company develop an award-winning SaaS solution that has revolutionized the way small businesses complete their accounting requirements. Additionally, Caywood has been a product manager for the UK product at Intuit, the financial, accounting and tax preparation Software Company.

Colin Payne
Vice President and Head of NextGen Banking

Colin Payne is a Vice President and Head of NextGen Banking at Capgemini.

In his role, he is responsible for developing strategies and delivering innovative solutions that propel major global retail and commercial banks into becoming “inventive”

Colin works with the C-suite to help their organizations leverage the opportunities offered by digital, transform their business and deliver unique, customer-centric services.

With over 25 years of experience in consulting, technology and innovation, Colin has previously worked for Apple, UBS, Macy’s and ran his own successful service design agency for a decade. He has been at the forefront of trends working on iconic, award winning products and services from the i-mac to Ministry of Sound – but his expertise settled in Financial Services and Fintech.

Some of his recent engagements include implementing digital customer journey transformations; enterprise agile delivery; core banking transformation; digital operating model design; open banking, platformization and API execution; digital innovation and FCA regulatory business planning. In each, a collaborative, dynamic and agile approach to delivery motivated the Capgemini team to build and deploy world-class, innovative solutions.
