Capgemini financial services Belgium alumni event

As the sun dipped below the horizon on Thursday, June 27, a sense of camaraderie and anticipation filled the air at Capgemini HQ in Belgium. The occasion? A remarkable event designed to (re)connect former colleagues, weaving together memories of the past and aspirations for the future.

The event provided a unique opportunity for colleagues, separated by time and professional paths, to reunite. Old friends embraced, laughter echoed through the halls, and stories flowed freely. It was a chance to catch up, reminisce about shared experiences, and rediscover the threads that once bound them together.

Beyond nostalgia, the gathering served as a bridge to the present and the future. New faces mingled with seasoned veterans, creating a vibrant tapestry of talent and expertise. Conversations sparked, ideas collided, and connections blossomed. Whether discussing the latest industry trends or sharing personal anecdotes, everyone found common ground.

Laurent Barbazanges took the stage. His presentation was more than just slides; it was an introduction on Capgemini today and an interactive “Cap-On, Cap-Off,” quiz. The quiz tested attendees’ knowledge of Capgemini’s history, culture, and quirky facts. Questions ranged from the company’s founding year to obscure office traditions. All participants could take their caps home as a commemorative gift and the winner earned bragging rights and a bottle of champaign.

In a corner adorned with fairy lights, the photobooth beckoned. Colleagues donned oversized glasses, and feather boas. They posed with old friends and new acquaintances. The camera clicked, capturing laughter, camaraderie, and a snapshot of the event’s spirit. Each photo strip became a cherished memento, shared on social media.

The event has achieved its goal: to strengthen bonds, extend the Capgemini FS Family, ignite curiosity, and propel Capgemini Financial Services Belgium toward greater heights. The date may have been June 27, but the impact will resonate long into the future.

Here’s to reconnecting, reminiscing, and forging new paths!
