Capgemini scoops its first HRO Today EMEA Award in Business Partnership Excellence for its HR transformation work at Syngenta

Paris, December 12, 2017 – Capgemini today announced it has won its first HRO Today EMEA Award for Business Partnership Excellence with its client Syngenta. The award recognized their close collaboration that has resulted in the transformation of Syngenta’s global HR Operations function covering approximately 28,000 employees around the world. The ceremony, a highlight in the HR industry’s calendar, took place recently in Dublin, Ireland.

The Business Partnership Excellence Award singled out Capgemini’s strong and close partnership with Syngenta, in particular their approach as “one team” working to transform the quality of Syngenta’s HR Operations, and the way they are delivered to meet the needs of a wide spectrum of internal customers: Syngenta employees range from office workers to farmers carrying out research in the field.

The award acknowledged Capgemini and Syngenta’s long-standing seven year working relationship that has seen them transform Syngenta’s HR model for a digital world. Joint achievements include dramatically improving the quality of HR operations delivery – with satisfaction increasing from 58% to 90% today; an improvement in consistency, through the use of automation and robotics; and a redefinition of Syngenta’s learning platform.
