I started my career as a software developer, back in 1992, and during my career I have held positions such as project manager, development manager, product manager, sales manager and division lead in both small and large companies. Always delivering software and services to public sector in Norway and the Nordics, both to healthcare and public administration.  The change to consulting came as a result of wanting to work closely with customers, helping them solve problems and deliver value.

What aspects of Capgemini’s values or culture attracted you to apply for a position here? 

Of the 7 values I really like Boldness, Honesty and Team Spirit. They help bring out the best when dealing with clients and solving problems.

What makes you passionate about your work? 

The fact that I can help our customers in public sector become even better at financing, distributing our welfare and upholding the democracy makes me passionate about my work. And the chance to work with experts from all over the world and develop personally makes it even better.

I have had quite a few employers and have not seen any other place where the culture is as genuinely open and including as Capgemini. When you walk into the office, there is always someone asking how you are, what you are working on, and that makes it a very good place to be.
