Paris, April 6, 2021 – Capgemini announced today that it has been positioned as a Leader by Avasant, a leading management consulting firm,  in its F&A Business Process Transformation 2020-2021 RadarView™ report. The assessment helps enterprises to identify top-tier service providers who can digitally transform their finance and accounting (F&A) operations. For the assessment, Avasant evaluated over 30 F&A service providers respectively against the key dimensions of practice maturity, investments and innovation, partner ecosystem and domain ecosystem.

“We are pleased to be recognized as Leaders by Avasant in its F&A Business Process Transformation RadarView™ assessment. It recognizes our market-leading offer that helps clients implement a digital ecosystem which addresses friction in finance operations, unlocking value from the finance function, and enabling the movement towards what we call The Frictionless Enterprise,” said David Lumley, Global Head of the Finance Powered by Intelligent Automation Practice at Capgemini’s Business Services.

According to the report, Capgemini was rated for strengths, including:

  • Its AI-augmented workforce combined with advanced analytics investments which delivers enterprise wide impact, with significant cost benefits, and enhanced user experience
  • Offering D-GEM, a digital global enterprise model, and ESOAR (Eliminate, Standardize, Optimize, Automate, Robotize), a transformation framework to reshape F&A processes, which helps enterprises to accelerate digital adoption and transition to effective operations
  • Strengthening its platform capabilities by combining in-house and partner-led tools and services, as well as strengthen its finance and accounting practice by collaborating with third-party software providers

As enterprises sustain the impact of the pandemic, they are expediting their F&A function transformations and taking a holistic approach, eliminating the siloed role that IT and business units played in the past. Capgemini is amongst the leading service providers helping enterprises in end-to-end F&A function transformation. Its mature F&A practice, deep domain expertise, robust suite of automation & AI solutions, and extensive leverage of domain ecosystem has helped several enterprises realize strategic business outcomes, beyond just cost savings,” said Saurabh Verma, Research Leader at Avasant.
