Capgemini helps us understand how we are all architects of positive futures

How do you feel in the morning getting up and going to work at Capgemini?

On travel days, I’m thinking through the logistics of getting to the airport on time with everything I need, making time to eat breakfast, syncing up emails before my flight, and checking in with my team. Generally speaking – I’m excited about the challenge of the day.  Capgemini has enabled me to do work I’m passionate about with people who want to make a positive impact for Capgemini and our clients.

What do you love about being a CSR Director?

I love that I get to focus 100% of my professional career on engaging our talent and partnering with our clients to support people, protect the planet, and lead inclusively.

How does Capgemini empower you to master your skills as a CSR Director?

In North America, Capgemini has massive training events called Talent Acceleration Weeks.  These events are great opportunities to network with peers, build technical and leadership skills, and connect more deeply to different talent initiatives that are showcased. In addition to quarterly face to face learning opportunities, we have thousands of online course offerings and virtual learning modules. We can brush up on any skill if we make the time.

How does Capgemini help support a sense of purpose in your career?

Capgemini helps us understand how we are all architects of positive futures. Our clear ambition to be a leading responsible and sustainable company using our expertise for positive impact supports a sense of purpose in my career. We work on projects that make a difference across industries.

How does Capgemini give you the autonomy to make decisions?

I’ve worked on projects in dozens of different industries across North America in my career.  Capgemini provides an incubator for learning and growth that isn’t available in some careers. Leveraging the learning from one project to try something new or different has provided me with autonomy in my career journey. Before Capgemini, I couldn’t have imagined that a Technology Transformation consultant could become a CSR Director. Each opportunity in my career was a stair-step to the next enabling pivots in my career.

What do you love about the way of working at Capgemini?

Author Daniel Pink said it best, “Autonomy, Mastery, and Purpose.” This is what people want and what I love about working at Capgemini.

How does this all combine for you to have passion for what you do?

My technical background and CSR experience provide a great intersection to address current global challenges related to creating ethical AI, designing sustainable solutions, and enhancing digital skills in the most vulnerable communities. I have a passion for what I do because I feel empowered to make an impact.

What was the most memorable moment in your Capgemini journey?

I have many, but most recently DJing virtually for the North America HR Operational Effectiveness team as part of a team-building exercise.
