Your role

We are looking for a Big Data & Artificial Intelligence business development manager with a proven track record in selling high value technical analytics solutions.

You will be responsible for developing and providing sales support and/or leadership in the sales and promotion of Capgemini Engineering advanced analytics solutions & services.

You will be a trusted advisor to the customer - both internally and externally. You are expected to ensure the enablement of the team, development of strategies, and repeatable frameworks to create compelling value propositions to drive and lead to a profitable business

In this role, the following responsibilities are expected:


  • Understand market and industry trends, understand key drivers and desired outcomes;
  • Leads Analytics discussions and evaluates customers’ business needs and presents compelling solutions to their problems;
  • Develop strategies/offers to drive advanced analytics solutions to meet current and future business needs;
  • Work closely with sales to create an account plan and support customer meetings (prospecting a lead, qualifying an opportunity, etc.);
  • Design the technical solution and response to specific customer needs leveraging the relevant expertise and knowledge existing in the organization;
  • Partner with our Offer Leader and Portfolio Manager to shape/develop the offers of tomorrow – aligned with market demand (business & technology) and corporate business plan;
  • Partner with Offer Leader to ensure market intelligence on a specific offer scope (trends, potential clients, competition, partnerships);
  • Partner with Practice Lead to co-build, co-develop and co-manage a community of practice to foster wide company x-fertilization;
  • Participate in, and contribute to sales forecast and pipeline reviews;
  • Foster and develop Offer, technology, and partnership communities to foster wide company x-fertilization;
  • Develops collateral, best practices and/or reference architectures for typical use cases so our teams can “rinse and repeat’ from other places where we have had success;
  • Managing booking, business development and coordinating technical marketing activities.

We are looking for a driven, self-motivated and proactive individual with the following attributes:


  • At least 5 year’s experience leading offer development solutions in the analytics engineering domain;
  • Experience in Advanced Analytics Domains such as Business Intelligence, Big Data, Machine Learning, Computer Vision, Natural Language Processing, Deep Learning;
  • Ability to lead in a constantly evolving environment, manage multiple priorities and ambiguity;
  • Ability to navigate within a matrix organization and influence senior leadership;
  • Track record of actively participating in large, complex sales engagements with relationships with C-Level Executives;
  • Comfortable with presenting, and engaging large audiences at conferences, and past experience a plus;
  • Executive level business acumen which enables you to serve as a thought partner with customers;
  • Exceptional presentation skills with the ability to articulate complex technologies;
  • Decisive, results and execution orientated with demonstrable achievement of success;
  • Proactive communication style, with proven ability to build trust and respect from the team;
  • Ability to put together winning proposals through direct sales and in response to tenders;
  • Industry experience in, knowledge of, and contacts in 1-2 of the following target science and engineering sectors: Telco, Energy and Utilities, life sciences & Healthcare, Pharmaceuticals, Manufacturing and Automotive;
  • Bachelor's or MSc Degree in Computer Science or a STEM major.
