This enables participants to learn more about emotional intelligence and gives them insight into how good their own emotional intelligence skills are.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Participants also learn more about how the program works, what they can expect, and receive weekly pre-session material curated through the NEXT platform \u2013 Capgemini\u2019s internal learning platform.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The program consists of four workshops covering the main areas of emotional intelligence, with the final session featuring a speaker who shares their own emotional intelligence experiences and opens the floor to a general Q&amp;A session. In these workshops participants learn how to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Use emotional intelligence effectively&nbsp;\u2013<\/strong> shows participants how to understand and manage their emotions, and use their understanding of others\u2019 feelings to interact effectively with their colleagues,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Enhance their emotional intelligence&nbsp;\u2013<\/strong> builds awareness of what comprises emotional intelligence and deepens participants\u2019 knowledge of how emotional intelligence plays a role in client relationships and negotiations,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Sell by leveraging emotional intelligence&nbsp;\u2013<\/strong> highlights the role emotional intelligence plays in the sales cycle,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Identify the links between emotion and stress&nbsp;\u2013 <\/strong>helps participants understand the relationship between emotion and stress.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>All these workshops also have a practical element for coaching participants in simulated emotional situations, which aim to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.capgemini.com\/insights\/expert-perspectives\/emotional-intelligence-implications-for-business-processes\/\">deepen participants understanding of emotional intelligence<\/a> and how it can be applied in real-world scenarios. These workshops are targeted towards all employees, regardless of discipline, with each workshop comprising of 30 participants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Six to nine months after their emotional intelligence training, participants receive a second emotional intelligence assessment. This second assessment gives participants insight into how emotionally intelligent they have become since starting the program. Of course, the increase in their skills here may also be impacted by changes in roles or environments over those last few months. However, the differences between the scores of these two assessments are always significantly better the second time around.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-discovering-the-power-of-emotional-intelligence-coaching\"><strong>Discovering the power of emotional intelligence coaching<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>As mentioned before, Capgemini\u2019s emotional intelligence coaching program provides our managers and their teams <a href=\"https:\/\/www.capgemini.com\/insights\/expert-perspectives\/the-power-of-emotional-intelligence\/\">with more knowledge around the power of emotions<\/a>, the basic level of emotional intelligence needed to get results faster, and offers concrete benefits to our employees and organization in terms of higher productivity, higher job satisfaction, and lower attrition among others.
